中英对照：被中共洗脑，加拿大华人组织歪曲朝鲜战争历史引人愤慨

 

 

近期的一篇《环球邮报》报道加拿大华人组织成员在微信群内宣扬中国人民解放军在朝鲜战争中战功的文章在加国引起广泛争议。这些华人的张贴大都引用了习近平近期赞扬中国军人在朝鲜战争中的战功，并谴责美国及其同盟军的讲话。《环球邮报》文章一出，加拿大百姓反应强烈，很多人表示这些华人的行为伤害了他们的感情及其对战死疆场的老兵的崇敬。有读者甚至在该文的评论栏里建议取消这些华人的加拿大国籍。其实，微信群中的这些张贴和纪念文章不过是中共误导大众的宣传攻势在海外的延续，而大陆老百姓和其海外同胞都不幸是这一宣传攻势的牺牲品。

 

A recent G&M article revealing Chinese Canadian groups celebrated China's military role in the Korean War has sparked heated controversy. Through WeChat posts, some Chinese Canadian associations echoed President Xi Jinping's statements that lauded Chinese soldiers and condemned the US and its allies, including Canada. Their actions have offended many Canadian readers and hurt their feelings towards the fallen heroes, with some demanding to revoke WeChat posters’ citizenship. However, the quotes and articles on WeChat accounts appeared to be a part of the CCP's disinformation campaign that has victimized both Chinese citizens and their overseas immigrants alike.

 

“入侵美军飞机多次轰炸中国东北边境地区，给人民生命财产造成严重损失。而中国军队抵御了帝国主义的侵略扩张，捍卫了新中国和中国人民的安全……”“中国人民解放军赢得了战争的胜利以及世人的尊敬，打破了美帝国主义不可战胜的神话”。在上周开展的庆祝中国国庆70周年活动中，习近平的讲话被广为传播，频频出现于中国官方媒体报刊和视频。

 

"China fought against 'imperialist invaders' during the War, defended the repeated bombing of China's northeast border area that caused severe losses to peoples' lives and property... China won peace and respect with victory, breaking the myths that the US military is invincible." Xi's speech dominated a flurry of official publications in the past week as CCP rolled out week-long commemorative events to celebrate China's role in the War. 

 

习近平的此番讲话遭到南韩政府的猛烈抨击，称其“歪曲历史”。事实上，朝鲜战争不是美国发动的，其始作俑者是北朝鲜。1950年6月，为了“解放”南韩，实现朝鲜统一，北朝鲜领导人金日成获得了毛泽东的首肯后对南韩发起军事袭击，几乎占领了整个朝鲜半岛。在此严峻局势下，联合国派出美国率领的联合国盟军进入南韩，阻止了北朝鲜人民军占领南韩首都汉城。就在美国部队逼近中朝边境之际，毛泽东按捺不住心中的恐慌而派出中国人民解放军入朝参战，和朝鲜人民军一道与抵抗包括加国军队在内的联合国部队。

 

Xi's speech faces criticisms from the South Korean government for distorting history.  The "US imperialism" did not start the War, but North Korea did. In June 1950, to forcibly reunify Korea under a communist government, Kim Il Sung, the North Korean leader green-lighted by Mao Zedong, invaded the South and almost took the entire Korean Peninsula. Pyongyang's military actions prompted the UN to send the US-led troops into Korea to prevent North Korean armies from retaking Seoul. As the US troops drew near the Chinese border, Chinese armies responded by joining its communist ally, fighting against the UN forces that included the Canadian military.

The entire Korean War was a pointless conflict that started with false perception over the power of military engagements, with the redrawn of the 38th parallel putting an end to the stalemated fighting. China greatly underestimated US determination and mobility and, more importantly, its air power's role on the modern battlefield.  Apart from over 3 million deaths of Korean civilians in grinding battles over rugged and frozen mountains, Chinese armies suffered a devastating loss of 539,000 casualties, far exceeding 33,000 deaths in the US armies. 516 Canadian soldiers died in the famous Kapyong battle.

 

但中共的宣传攻势下，中国的教科书遭篡改，真相被扭曲，且中国人民解放军的军事历史成为颂扬共产党及其领袖的工具。在中共的误导下，多数中国高中毕业生都将中日战争的胜利归功于中共领导下的人民战争，而非美国原子弹的轰炸。许多人对中国解放军1950年入侵西藏的历史一无所知，也对中国1979年发动的，惨遭滑铁卢的“对越自卫反击战”也不甚了解。

 

CCP's propaganda campaigns and government censored textbooks often provide its past military actions through distorted lenses, turning history into a political tool to extol the virtues of communism leadership. Most high school graduates in China believe that it was Chinese resistance, rather than the US bombing that led to the Sino-Japanese War's victory. Many are ignorant of the PLA's historical aggressions – including its invasion of Tibet in 1950 and its start of the ill-fated China-Vietnam War in 1979.

 

同样，包括海外移民在内中国大陆同胞也被朝鲜战争的诸多事实误导，以为中，朝两国取得了朝鲜战争的巨大胜利，将美帝国主义这一“纸老虎“及其“走狗们”打得落花流水。他们当中很多人也根本不知道加国军队参加了朝鲜战争。加国华人团体替中共歪曲朝鲜战争而引发的这场争端给我们提供了了解历史真相，摆脱中共洗脑的良机。

 

Like their mainland counterparts, many immigrants brought up in China are uninformed of the Korean War's reality, believing that China and Korea won a decisive victory over the American "Paper Tigers" and its "Running Dogs" while unaware of the Canadian armies' participation in the War.  The controversy provides them an opportunity to uncover the real history and break away from the influence of CCP's disinformation efforts.
