中国取代加国成为曼哈顿商用物业主要国外投资

Canadian dominance in US commercial real estate recedes as Chinese capital gains ground
因受金融危机的持续影响,加拿大退休基金,保险和投资公司在近十几年里大肆进军美国的商业地产,一度成为该产业外国投资者的领头羊。但是这种地位被快速涌入的、设法寻求直接投资渠道的中国资金所取代。由于中国经济低迷,股票市场被暗中操纵及人民币不断贬值,使得中国的一些金融公司将目光转向美国曼哈顿的商业物业。由一些综合性大企业资助的安邦保险集团就是其中之一,在美国房地产中出手阔绰,收购巨资物业。

In the aftermath of the financial crisis, Canadian pension funds, insurance companies and investment firms began a near-decade-long spending spree on U.S. commercial real estates, making it the top foreign investors in the US commercial markets. But Canada’s dominance has been crushed by fast rising tide of Chinese capitals seeking direct investments in US commercial real estate. Facing the threats of economic slowdown, stock market manipulation and currency devaluation at home, an influx of Chinese financial firms increasingly set their sights on Manhattan properties, with Beijing-based Anbang Insurance, backed by Chinese conglomerates, arriving on the US real estate scene in a big way.
